Community Events
Pullman Civic Trust plays an active role in planning and implementing community festivals and events.
Construction Kickoff Celebration
April 27th at 11 am in Pine Street Plaza
On event day: There will be fun activities such as painting a brick from old Main Street to take home, photo ops, a construction vehicle to sit on, etc. Featured speakers include several business owners who will share their perspective on the construction project. Earn a reward by visiting as many Main Street businesses as possible to collect stickers from each business. Then bring back the stickers to the Plaza for a prize.
During the construction season: You will get a passport where each page is labeled with one month (April-October). If you visit at least 4 businesses per month of construction, your name will be added to a drawing for 1 of several gift baskets at the end of construction.
Pedal Pullman
Pedal Pullman is a summer event that introduces participants to Pullman’s trail system. It is a family friendly event that includes stops along the route with fun facts about the location and opportunities to take fun selfies and sometimes pick of a special treat.
Holiday Fest
We help with the Pullman Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Fest to welcome Santa to town and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.
PCT lines the kid’s jingle bell run with luminaries, lit up the train car at the Pullman Heritage that Santa steps out of before leading the way to light the City’s tree at Pine Street Plaza.
3Forks River and Arts Festival
PCT helps with the planning of this new Spring festival in Pullman. We also hosted a station where festival go-ers could see how well they know Pullman’s trail system. Our activity was to match the trail segment logo with the trail segment that it goes with.
