Pullman Civic Trust plays an active role in planning and implementing community festivals and events.
Events to Promote Downtown Pullman During Main St Construction
2024 - 2025
During the construction season: We initiated a “passport to downtown” program to encourage folks to visit businesses while the Main Street was all torn up. Participants collected stickers from participating businesses, trying to get 4 per month. Completed passports were entered into a drawing for several prizes.
Pedal Pullman
Pedal Pullman is a summer event that introduces participants to Pullman’s trail system. It is a family friendly event that includes stops along the route with fun facts about the location and opportunities to take fun selfies and sometimes pick of a special treat.
Holiday Fest
We help with the Pullman Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Fest to welcome Santa to town and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.
PCT lines the kid’s jingle bell run with luminaries, lit up the train car at the Pullman Heritage that Santa steps out of before leading the way to light the City’s tree at Pine Street Plaza.
3Forks River & Arts Festival
PCT helps with the planning of this new Spring festival in Pullman. We also hosted a station where festival go-ers could see how well they know Pullman’s trail system. Our activity was to match the trail segment logo with the trail segment that it goes with.
