Enjoy the Pullman Loop Trail

Thanks to the completion of the Downtown Pullman Riverwalk, residents and visitors can now enjoy an 8-mile trail loop around College Hill. About one mile of the loop overlaps with the Bill Chipman Trail, a rural trail that connects Pullman and Moscow.

The loop is for non-motorized traffic and consists mostly of 8-foot-wide asphalt. Road crossings are expedited by traffic lights or marked pedestrian crossings. There are no steps and all access points have ramps.

Individual trail segments are identified by distinctive signs designed by local graphic designer and trail enthusiast David Hoyt.

The Davis Way segment extends west from Grand Avenue along Davis Way to the edge of Pullman.

The Grand Avenue Greenway segment parallels Grand Avenue from downtown Pullman north toTerreview Drive.

The College Hill Climb segment connects the Grand Avenue Greenway trail section to Maple Street on College Hill.

The Arbor Link segment runs along Airport Road between Terreview Drive and the Chipman Trail at Highway 270.

The City Playfield Path circles around the city ball fields between Riverview St. and the Palouse river.

The Koppel Farm segment follows the Palouse River between Bishop Boulevard and downtown Pullman.

Once constructed, the Johnson Road Segment will follow Johnson Road from Bishop Boulevard south toward animal Haven.

The Koppel Farm segment runs between Bishop Boulevard and the Downtown Pullman Riverwalk.
